Community Closet

A free thrift store right here in Rockland County, created to support individuals and families in need of clothing, household items, and everyday essentials right when they need them most.

At Porter Realty Boutique, we believe real estate is more than buying and selling homes. it’s about people, community, and showing up when it matters most.

Before real estate, I served as a nonprofit housing director and community housing counselor, wearing many hats in the housing sector. During that time, I made a promise to myself:

That one day, I would build something that merged my nonprofit mission with my real estate career, creating real impact beyond a transaction.

Porter Realty Community Closet is open to all! Just a place to “shop” for clothes & accessories at no cost. No income requirements, no questions asked. This is not about “need,” but about sharing, swapping, & enjoying the spirit of giving without stigma.

✨ A place where you can:

• Take what you need

• Donate what you no longer use

• Swap items

• Or simply find something special during a time when finances feel tight

Because the truth is… we all need help sometimes.

✨ Now we need your help to bring it to life.

We are raising funds to secure and build out a local storage space that will serve as our Community Thrifting Closet. With the help of contractors, volunteers, and our incredible community, we are ready to create something truly meaningful.

Every dollar raised will go directly toward:

• Securing the space

• Shelving and setup

• Organization and accessibility

• Ongoing upkeep of the closet

Even $5 makes a difference.

I cannot do this alone but I know we can do this together.

I’m calling on my community, my real life change makers!! If you’ve ever wanted to be part of something good… this is it.

Let’s come together to support one another, uplift our neighbors, and create a space where no one feels alone in their time of need.

✨ Let’s be a part of what’s good. ✨
